Society Quarterly Up-date January 28, 2020
Dear Members,

We are pleased to inform you that the process for selection of developer for our housing scheme is near to completion. Our Consultants, M/s MM Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd. have submitted their technical report. They have recommended M/s Habib Rafiq (Pvt.) Limited (a bidder for development) substantially qualified for meeting the criteria. As per their recommendations, the Society has opened financial bid of M/s Habib Rafiq (Pvt.) Limited and the Consultants are evaluating and comparing it with Engineer’s estimate. They will give their comments on the financial bid next week, after which The Managing Committee will negotiate with M/s Habib Rafiq (Pvt.) Limited for terms of the agreement. We are hopeful that AGM will be called in March 2020 to have members opinion in this regard.

Dear Members,

Hope you are safe, with the GRACE OF GOD in this pandemic and wish you and your family good health and Happy Eid.

M/s Habib Rafiq (Pvt) Limited was short listed for final negotiations. Our technical team had various meetings with their management. Few things were concluded and it was decided that further meetings would be held by Managing Committee with Director of Habib Rafiq (Pvt) Limited to decide remaining outstanding points. A meeting was scheduled with the Director of Habib Rafiq (Pvt) Limited in this regard but due to Covid-19 they closed the office till Eid and cancelled the scheduled meeting. We are expecting to meet Mr. Zahid Rafiq, Director of Habib Rafiq (Pvt) Limited on reopening of their office. We are trying to improve terms of the bid in the interest of Society members. After concluding the terms, the Consultant M/s MMP and our legal advisor will finalize the draft agreement between Habib Rafiq (Pvt) Limited and the Society. Thereafter we will call AGM to get members opinion in this regard. We are pleased to inform that M/s Habib Rafiq (Pvt) Limited have agreed to arrange all NOC/approvals from various quarters if they are awarded the contract.

We have come to know that some investors directly or through some Society members are creating negativity among other members so that they may get plots/files at cheaper rate. In case you get such a call/SMS please contact Office Bearers or any other MC member to have the true picture.

We will keep you posted with further development in finalization of arrangements with the developers.
